Our Story
Midwest Centre for Advancement of Education and Research (MCAER) was established with a single, powerful belief: that no deserving student should be denied an education because of financial hardship.Founded by a group of passionate educators, professionals, and community leaders at the Midwest Institute of Sciences in Bhara Kahu, Islamabad, MCAER began its journey by awarding its first ten scholarships to students in the local community. What started as a small local initiative quickly grew into a recognized non-profit organization with programs reaching students across the Islamabad Capital Territory and neighboring regions.Over the years, MCAER has expanded its scope beyond scholarships to include educational tours, research grants, academic competitions, talent recognition events, and community awareness programs — all driven by the dedication of its volunteers, donors, and Board of Directors.
